Our partner, GO Regulator, is a leading global designer and manufacturer of standardised and specialty stainless steel pressure regulators, diaphragm valves, and filters to the analytical, instrumentation, petrochemical, oil & gas, and specialty gas industries.

GO Pressure Regulators are designed to fulfil a wide range of applications, controlling pressure while accommodating low to moderate flow rates of many gases and liquids. Virtually all requirements involved in pressure regulator applications can be fulfilled with approximately fifty GO fluid control products and associated optional features.

The GO line includes single stage pressure regulators, back pressure regulators, dome loaded regulators, high pressure regulators, liquid and gas pressure regulators, and filters for process analysers.

Single Stage Pressure Regulators

Our selection of single stage pressure regulators are designed to reduce an upstream (inlet) pressure to a desired downstream (outlet) pressure. This range includes standard stainless steel and brass regulators, ultra high and low flow pressure regulators, high temperature regulators and specialty versions.Stainless Steel Pressure Regulators

Our most popular product model, the PR1 stainless steel pressure regulators are readily available in stock at our UK headquarters, in a wide variety of configurations suitable for your application. As a trusted supplier of pressure regulators in the UK, backed by a world-leading manufacturer, we can react fast to your needs and deliver next-day the perfect solution for your system.

Our standard PR1 pressure regulator is designed to fulfil a vast range of needs in instrumentation sample systems and other high-quality applications. It is perfect for controlling pressures at low to moderate flows and is reliable for both gas and liquid service. The enhanced internal body surface finish of better than 25 Ra plus electropolishing allows for easier cleaning and less particle contamination in the flow stream. Available with five different seat materials, three alternate orifice sizes and seven pressure control ranges gives the end user a wide spectrum of capabilities.

Stainless Steel Regulator Features & Benefits

Our model PR1 pressure regulator offers end-users a huge number of advantages over market-leading competitors.

  • No more scrapping units after 5 years. Go “green” with these completely serviceable and maintainable units.
  • No more removing units from lines for maintenance. Field service units in-situ by simply unscrewing the cap assembly.
  • No more system downtimes waiting on manufacturers long lead times. Rely on our local stockholding of complete units and spare parts.
  • No more complicated or excessive number of internal components. Straightforward design allows for easy understanding of the internal functionality.
  • No more inaccurate control levels or drifting. Highly engineering design allows for smooth adjustments and high leak tightness across the seat.
  • No more unexpected pressure adjustments from operators. Set the regulator and lock it off with our additional tamper-proof option.
  • All outlet pressure ranges are possible by just changing the diaphragm and spring. Easily changeable in 60 seconds with a low inventory.
  • All CVs and seat materials are possible using the same unit body. Simply swap out the seat and seat retainer to the required version.
  • Easily convertible from a “pressure reducing” to a “back pressure” regulator. Utilise the same regulator body for dozens of different configurations.
  • 316L stainless steel internal surface finish of better than 25 Ra plus electropolishing. Get high purity quality and cleanliness for an affordable unit price.
  • A reliable technical helpline that answers that phone when you call. We are an OEM certified assembly and service centre.

Gas Pressure Regulators

As well as the time-tested PR1 model, we also have several other stainless steel regulator models that we can propose for gas service*.

Our CYL-20 two stage gas pressure regulator offers precision pressure control for both bottle regulation and line pressure applications. Constructed of 316L Stainless Steel and PTFE, this pressure reducing valve boasts less than 0.01% outlet pressure change with varying inlet pressures and is favoured amongst gas calibration systems and semiconductor materials processing where the highest possible accuracy is critical. It is suitable for service in corrosive streams, as well as inert service with potential surface absorption problems.

Our PR7LF high sensitivity regulator and PR7ULF ultra low flow pressure regulators are designed to furnish precise low outlet pressure control to analytical instrumentation. With the combination of large diaphragm sensing areas and low flow seat assemblies, pressure control down to 10” of water for the PR7LF model and down to 1” of water (2cc) of flow for the PR7ULF models is easily obtainable.

Our COM2B autochangeover regulators are the perfect solution for compact crossover manifolds. Utilising two stainless steel pressure regulators mounted to a bracket for easy installation, this system is designed to provide a constant unchanging supply pressure which is unaffected by supply source depletion. As the primary supply source depletes, the preset changeover pressure of the secondary regulator allows it to take over, ensuring a constant supply of gas bottle pressure is always delivered.

*Note that these units can also be used for liquid applications, depending on the specifications.

Liquid Pressure Regulators

In addition to the above mentioned models, we also include some models which are perfectly suited for liquid pressure regulation applications.

Our PR7 pressure regulator has been designed for those applications with high flow rates but still needing a compact packaged unit. This unit boasts minimal droop and resonance with high flows increased thanks to the large diaphragm sensing area.

Our BP6 back pressure regulator was originally designed for high flow reverse osmosis water purification systems. It can also be easily used in pilot facilities and large instrumentation systems with harsh operating conditions, with a 316 stainless steel seat assembly which was intended for long term usage in sea water and chemical enviornments.

Our HPR2 electrically heated pressure regulators are designed to supply heat to samples entering instrumentation systems. Now available with Modbus and Cabus connectivity as standard, it can be used to preheat liquids, prevent condensation of gases or vapourise liquids prior to gas analysis.

High Pressure and Flow Regulators

Again in addition to the above, we also have high pressure regulators and high flow regulators designed to cope with more extreme conditions.

Our PR57 high pressure regulator is designed to meet the demands for safe reduction of inlet and outlet pressures up to 10,000 PSIG (689 BAR). This precision regulator utilises a piston sensing design which provides the operator with ow adjusting torque requirements when setting the outlet pressure. The body is constructed from 316L stainless steel, providing the ultimate safety and corrosion resistance.

Our PR59 pressure regulator is designed to cope with high pressures up to 4,000 PSIG (275 BAR) coupled with a large flow cofficient (Cv) of 1.20. This unit can be used with virtually any liquid systems that are compatible with the seal materials, and thanks to the large piston sensor end users can get great sensitivity of control even at low outlet pressures.

Regulator Calculation Tools

Our calculation tools allow you to correctly select the required flow coefficient (Cv) value for your pressure reducing or back pressure regulator. These software tools will utilise your process data to calculate the Cv so that you can achieve your required flow rate. Basic operating parameters you will need to have on hand are as follows:

  • Inlet Pressure (P1 or Upstream Pressure usually in BAR or PSI)
  • Outlet/Control Pressure (P2 or Downstream Pressure usually in BAR or PSI)
  • Flow Rate (Q usually in m³/h or SCFM)
  • Media Temperature (T usually in °C or °F)
  • Media (To calculate the Specific Gravity or Molecular Weight/Density)

From entering the above required information, our calculation tools will produce a recommend Cv value (that must be doubled as a safety factor) for your system requirements.

The calculation software can also do the reverse of this – allowing you to use a pre-selected Cv value to calculate your maximum possible flow rate.
