This selection of safety pressure gauges consist of bourdon tube, diaphragm, absolute and test designs offering end users increased safety requirements for personal protection.
Our flagship model 232.30 and 233.30 full safety pattern pressure gauges are awarded an "S3" safety level, comprising of a non-splintering dial window, a blow-out disc on the back and a solid baffle wall designed in compliance with the requirements and test conditions of EN 837-1. This safety level makes these gauges highly suitable for the most demanding operating conditions and harsh environments, for both gaseous and liquid aggressive media (so long as they're not highly viscous or crystallising).
We hold a large selection of standard safety pattern gauges in stock at Boiswood so that they're readily available off-the-shelf. Typical ranges include from 0 - 1 BAR up to 0 - 400 BAR (with Dual Scale PSI), 1/4" Male NPT Bottom Entry Connection and 63mm Nominal Dial Size. Models are available with or without Glycerine Case Filling.
Typical applications can include process oil and gas rigs (including resistance to rough vibrations), chemical & petrochemical industries (available in exotic alloy construction materials), power engineering (with high dynamic pressure loads), water/wastewater treatment technologies (featuring a special version to avoid fugitive emissions) and as air compressor pressure gauges.
