The Sticks 900 cryogenic bellows valves are designed to act as straight or angle pattern valves for vacuum jacketed lines and cryogenic systems. The Sticks is especially great for use on nitrogen, helium, hydrogen and other gases with an extremely low heat inlet.
These valves are designed with high quality and precision engineering stainless steel bellows, offering end users reassurance of an extremely long service life span and a very high leak tightness rating to atmosphere. The valve body is machined from one piece of solid barstock stainless steel. End connections can be supplied in standard catalogue butt weld sizes or specific designs according to customer specifications.
The Sticks valves come with a welding flange for vacuum insulation as standard and allow for an installation position with the stem up to 30° from vertical position.
The manual control version of the Sticks comes with an ergonomic handwheel with built-in and easy-to-read position indicator. The pneumatic version of this valve utilises a compact pneumatic piston actuator with safety position to ensure safe/opening closing. The pneumatic regulating version (cryogenic flow regulating/control) of the valve offers end users exact flow regulation with its pneumatic actuator and is combined with an integral compact and space-saving IP Positioner. The cryogenic regulating version is offered with an equal percentage regulation cone as standard.
