Micrafilter was founded in 1994 and specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of high quality products for the filtration of air, gases and liquids to meet the specialist requirements of industrial and scientific applications around the world. Their core expertise lies in our moulded microfibre tube technology for coalescing and sintered filters.

This offers many advantages over traditional filtration methods including the use of fluoropolymer binder which gives the tubes high temperature and chemical resistance for use in aggressive environments, as well as for general filtration purposes.

Unlike traditional filter cartridges, our tubes do not require additional support against structures, meaning that they will self-seal against the filter housings. Specifically, our bespoke blend of borosilicate microfibres are precisely reinforced for filtration in media with large void spaces, for lower pressure drops, resulting in less energy and reducing running costs.

The extended Micrafilter product range also includes aluminium and stainless steel filter housings, coalescing and sintered filter designs, disposable filters for inline installation and absorbents. We can also support with a comprehensive range of compatible replacement filter elements.
