The Univers 1200 cryogenic bellows valves are available in manual, pneumatic and electric actuator configurations with either on/off (globe) or control (regulating) functionality. These high quality stainless steel cryogenic valves are designed primarily for use on gaseous media.
They are available from the catalogue with straight pattern or angled flow path configurations and all types utilise high quality engineered stainless steel bellows. The valve body is machined from one singular block of barstock stainless steel. End connections can be supplied in butt-welded standard sizes or offered according to customer specifications (including threads, flanges and more custom solutions).
The manual cryogenic valve allows for easy operation via an ergonomic hand wheel made from coated aluminium, with an integrated pin to visually indicate the valve position. The pneumatic cryogenic valve features a compact pneumatic piston actuator with an anodised aluminium body, integrated with fail-safe functionality for secure opening and closing via a pilot valve. The electric cryogenic valve utilises a bespoke selection of electric actuators with integrated emergency manual override, special voltages available on request and additional accessories such as limit switches, solenoid valves, IP Positioners and more are all available.
In addition to the standard on/off (shut-off) valve functionality, the Univers 1200 series is also available as a control or regulating valve. This means the required valve can have a control cone according to equal percentage, linear or customer-specified characteristics.
As well as being available as bellows sealed globe valves, the Univers 1200 series can also be offered as cryogenic non-return/check valves or cryogenic filters. The non-return valves are ideal for low minimum opening pressures down to = 0.3 BAR. The cryogenic filters are available as wire mesh or sintered filter types, with standard mesh sizes of 40 µm and others available on request.
